OGDEN, Utah-Freddy Achecar homered twice and the Ogden Raptors overpowered Grand Junction 10-4 Saturday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Gunnar Groen posted six strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work for the Raptors, who improved to 2-2 on the season with the victory.

Nico Popa netted three RBI in defeat for the Rockies, as they fell to 2-2 on the season.

The Raptors and Rockies meet again Sunday at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Field as the squads vie for the series lead in the fifth game of the week between the teams.
