OGDEN, Utah-Ronny Orta homered and the Ogden Raptors bested Northern Colorado 5-2 Tuesday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field.

Orta also earned the win on the mound for the Raptors by posting three strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work.

Brian Dansereau and Zach West each had an RBI in the loss for the Owlz as they fell to 5-6 on the season.

The Raptors improved to 8-3 and have won seven out of their last 10 contests.

Ogden and Northern Colorado meet again Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
