OGDEN, Utah-Matt Warkentin and Jesus Valdez homered and the Ogden Raptors edged Northern Colorado 5-4 Sunday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field to conclude the series.

Riley Ottesen posted six strikeouts in as many innings to earn the win on the mound for Ogden.

Abdel Guadalupe and Ty Lewis each homered in defeat for the Owlz.

The Raptors improved to 45-33 on the season with the win while Northern Colorado fell to 28-46 in defeat.

The Raptors return to action Tuesday at Rocky Mountain at 6:30 pm for a six-game series against the Vibes.
