SALT LAKE CITY-Brian O’Keefe contributed a key 2-RBI double in the 8th Inning and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 7-5 Tuesday in the series opener at Smith’s Ballpark.

Blake Weiman earned the win on the mound for Tacoma to improve to 1-2 on the season.

Michael Stefanic, Jordyn Adams and Jo Adell homered in the loss for the Bees as they fell to 11-17.

The Rainiers improved to 15-12 on the season with the victory.

The squads return to action Wednesday at 12:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
