SALT LAKE CITY-Jake Scheiner, Mike Ford and Pat Valaika contributed key RBI in the 8th Inning and the Tacoma Rainiers outlasted Salt Lake 8-6 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark to conclude the series.

Diego Castillo recorded the win on the mound for the Rainiers as he improved to 1-0 on the season.

Jared Oliva homered in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 15-18 in defeat. Tacoma got back to .500 at 16-16 with the victory.

The Bees return to action Tuesday at 7:45 pm MDT to start a six game series at Sacramento against the River Cats.
