SALT LAKE CITY-Brian O’Keefe, Scott Heineman and Forrest Wall each drove in runs and the Tacoma Rainiers blanked Salt Lake 6-0 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

This game was the first for each squad following the Triple A All-Star Break.

Brennan Bernardino earned the win on the mound for Tacoma, symmetrically posting three strikeouts in three innings.

The Rainiers improved to 39-51 on the season while the Bees fell to 42-49 with the loss. The defeat was Salt Lake’s second in a row following a streak which saw them win four of previous five games.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
