SALT LAKE CITY-Scott Heineman belted a grand slam and the Tacoma Rainiers downed the Salt Lake Bees 13-6 Wednesday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Tommy Milone netted five strikeouts in five innings of work for the Rainiers as he improved to 2-0 on the season.

Jose Rojas homered twice while Matt Thaiss and Magneuris Sierra also went yard in defeat for the Bees.

Tacoma improves to 20-35 on the season while the Bees fell to 30-26 in defeat.

The series concludes Thursday at 12:05 pm as the Bees and Rainiers meet for a matinee at Smith’s Ballpark.

The Bees will then travel to Oklahoma City Friday for another three-game series against the Dodgers.
