MISSOULA, Mont.-Jayson Newman homered and the Missoula PaddleHeads outlasted Ogden 8-7 Sunday at Ogren Field in Pioneer League play.

Mark Timmins posted four strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Missoula.

Pat Adams drove in two runs in defeat for the Raptors.

Missoula improved to 38-13 (4-2 in the second half of the season) in victory. Ogden fell to 31-22 (2-4 in the second half of the season) in defeat.

The Raptors return to action Tuesday at 7:00 pm to host the Boise Hawks at Lindquist Field.
