GREELEY, Colo.-Kevin Higgins homered and the Northern Colorado Owlz edged Ogden 5-4 Wednesday at Jackson Field in Pioneer League play.

Will Buraconak earned the win on the mound for the Owlz by posting seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work.

Josh Broughton, Dustyn Macaluso and Brian Dansereau each drove in a run in defeat for the Raptors who fell to 20-17 on the season.

The Owlz improve to 17-19 on the season with the victory.

Ogden and Northern Colorado again meet Thursday at 4:05 pm at Jackson Field.
