JOHNSTOWN, Colo.-Brandon Crosby homered and the Northern Colorado Owlz downed Ogden 5-2 Monday at the Ball Fields at Nelson Farm Park in Pioneer League play.

Dexter Spenser earned the win on the mound for the Owlz by posting nine strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Kevin Elefante drove in a run for the Raptors in defeat.

Ogden fell to 49-42 with the loss, their third straight.

Northern Colorado improved to 34-54 with the win.

The Raptors and Owlz meet again Tuesday at 6:05 pm at the Ball Fields at Nelson Farm Park.
