OGDEN, Utah-Nick Bottari homered twice in the knockout round and the Northern Colorado Owlz outlasted Ogden 9-8 Saturday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Austin Schneider earned the win on the mound for Northern Colorado, posting six strikeouts in five innings of work.

Josh Broughton drove in three runs in defeat for the Raptors.

Ogden fell to 44-34 in defeat while Northern Colorado improved to 29-45 with the win.

The Raptors and Owlz conclude the series Sunday at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
