OGDEN, Utah-Gaylan Young won in the knockout round and the Northern Colorado Owlz outlasted Ogden 10-9 Thursday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Robbie Kellerman drove in three runs in victory for the Owlz as they improved to 6-7 on the season.

Preston Snavely earned the win on the mound for Northern Colorado by posting a strikeout in five innings of work.

Reese Alexiades and Andrew Noviello homered in defeat for the Raptors as they fell to 9-4.

The Owlz and Raptors return to action Friday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field as the series ensues.
