LOGAN, Utah-Tuesday, the Mountain West Conference announced a revised league schedule for the 2020-21 season set to commence December 21.
It is anticipated that this change will only be for the 2020-21 season.
It dictates that every Mountain West Conference school, including Utah State University, will play each opponent twice in the same conference season.
The new format emphasizes the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff while significantly reducing travel.
The Aggies commence the conference season by hosting San Jose State Monday December 21 and Wednesday December 23.
