Triple A-West

SALT LAKE CITY-Anderson Tejeda homered and added an RBI single as the Round Rock Express sent the Salt Lake Bees to their third consecutive loss with a 9-6 win Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

Yohel Pozo also went yard for the Express as Round Rock improved to 13-8 with the victory.

Jacob Lemoine earned the win on the mound for Round Rock in his first appearance of the season. Matt Thaiss homered in defeat for the Bees, who fell to 9-12 in the loss. This was the Bees’ third consecutive loss as they came into this series at 9-9.

The Bees and Express meet again at Smith’s Ballpark Saturday at 1:05 pm.

Pioneer League

GREAT FALLS, Mont.-Raul Shah posted 3 RBI and the Ogden Raptors exploded for seven 9th Inning runs to lead Ogden to a 12-8 win over Great Falls Saturday night at Centene Stadium.

Jakob Goldfarb and Tim Susnara drove in a pair of runs apiece for the Raptors, who improved to 6-1 with the win.

Anthony Donatella earned the win on the mound for the Raptors.

Jamal Howard and Mike Howard had 2 RBI apiece in defeat for the Voyagers, who fell to 0-7 with the loss.

The Raptors and Voyagers meet again at Centene Stadium Sunday at 4:00 pm.
