SALT LAKE CITY-Matt Thaiss homered and added an RBI triple as the Salt Lake Bees vanquished Albuquerque 7-4 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Anthony Bemboom went yard and stepped up with an RBI single for Salt Lake with Jose Rojas also homring for the Bees, who improved to 13-17 with the win.

Jake Faria earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake, improving to 3-1 on the season.

Rio Ruiz and Brian Serven each homered in the loss for the Isotopes, who fell to 9-22.

The Bees and Isotopes next meet Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Manny Olloque homered and Griffin Barnes added 3 RBI as the Rocky Mountain Vibes bested Ogden 11-6 Thurday at UCHealth Stadium.

Jean Correa earned the win on the mound for the Vibes, who improved to 6-11 on the season.

Josh Broughton posted a pair of RBI in defeat for the Raptors, who fell to 15-2.

The Vibes and Raptors meet again Friday at 6:30 pm at UCHealth Stadium.
