SALT LAKE CITY-Marty Bechina, Francisco Pena and Carlos Perez each homered in a productive 5th Inning as the Las Vegas Aviators routed Salt Lake 11-1 in Triple A-West play Tuesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Bechina added a 6th Inning home run for the 37-35 Aviators to conclude the series.

Homer Bailey earned the win on the mound for Las Vegas in his first appearance of the season as he is 1-0.

Taylor ward homered in defeat for the Bees who fell to 35-37.

Following a day off Wednesday, Salt Lake visits Albuquerque for a 6-game set on Thursday.
