SALT LAKE CITY-Elehuris Montero homered and the Albuquerque Isotopes downed Salt Lake 13-8 Thursday in Pacific Coast League play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Brandon Gold earned the win on the mound for Albuquerque by posting four strikeouts in five innings of work as he improved to 2-0 on the season.

Monte Harrison and David MacKinnon each homered in the loss for the Bees as they fell to 21-18. Albuquerque improves to 17-22 on the season with the win.

The Bees and Isotopes meet again Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
