Important Information For State Swimming and Wrestling

HEBER CITY, Utah-The Utah High School Activities Association is conducting 5-A state swimming (February 19 and 20) and wrestling (February 18) at the Wasatch Aquatic Center and The Nest respectively.

Therefore, this is important information for Wasatch County residents.

Jon Oglesby, the assistant director for the UHSAA stated that at state swimming, there is a “strict limit” on numbers who can be at the facility. Media is part of this limit, Oglesby confirmed.

He further stated that for swimming, only working media will be permitted inside the facility and UHSAA-issued passes will not be honored at this event.

Concerning wrestling, working media who have a UHSAA-issued pass or a UHSAA-issued school media pass will be permitted to attend.

Media with a pass who are found to not be in a working capacity will be asked to leave the facility.
