CANTON, Ohio-Sunday evening as the Birmingham Stallions edged the Philadelphia Stars, 33-30 to win the USFL championship, former Southern Utah University offensive lineman Marquez Tucker contributed to the title.

Tucker, who played with the Thunderbirds in 2017 and 2018, appeared in all 23 games for SUU over the course of those two seasons.

After a stint with the Chicago Bears, Tucker was drafted in the ninth round by the Stallions in the USFL Draft. He appeared in 10 games for the Stallions this season, making one start.
