BYU Men’s Basketball Standouts Receive All-WCC Academic Recognition

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-Tuesday, BYU men’s basketball sophomore guard Fousseyni Traore and sophomore shooting guard Trey Stewart achieved all-West Coast Academic honors.

Traore made the all-WCC academic conference squad and has a 3.68 GPA in business.

Stewart received honorable mention status. He has a 3.44 GPA in psychology.

Traore is averaging 13.2 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Cougars this season.

Stewart is averaging 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game for BYU on the season.

Traore, Stewart and their Cougars teammates return to action Friday by facing either Portland or San Diego in the WCC tournament at the Orleans Arena of Las Vegas.
