ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Utah Tech head baseball coach Chris Pfatenhauer announced the appointment of former Trailblazers infielder Braxton Ipson as the new director of baseball operations and the assistant camp director for the upcoming season.

Ipson spent the past two seasons as the assistant baseball coach at his alma mater, Dixie High School, in St. George.

Ipson, a St. George native, is a 2020 graduate of then-Dixie State, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
