Bees Win Series Against Tacoma Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY-Kevin Padlo posted an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th and the Salt Lake Bees won their fourth straight game with a 5-4 win over Tacoma Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Kean Wong added a home run in victory for the Bees, who earned their first series win since taking two of three from Sacramento in the season-opening series in early April.

Gerardo Reyes earned the win on the mound for the Bees, recording a strikeout in one inning of work. Reyes improved to 1-1 on the season with the win.

Jake Scheiner and Zach DeLoach drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Rainiers.

Salt Lake improved to 15-17 on the season with the win, their sixth in the last seven games. Tacoma fell to 15-16 in defeat.

The Bees and Rainiers conclude the series Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
