SALT LAKE CITY-Chad Wallach homered twice and Preston Palmeiro also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees pounded Sacramento 12-4 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

Jake Buchanan earned the win on the mound for the Bees as he improved to 3-4 on the season.

Ronnie Freeman and Braden Bishop homered in defeat for the River Cats, who fell to 53-68.

The Bees improved to 52-71 with the victory.

Salt Lake and Sacramento meet again Monday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
