SALT LAKE CITY-Jack Mayfield homered and the Salt Lake Bees concluded their home season successfully with a 3-1 win over Sacramento Saturday evening at Smith’s Ballpark.

The Bees, who improved to 70-77 on the season in victory, conducted a kids run on the playing surface as the game concluded.

After Friday’s 12-7 loss to Sacramento, the Bees honored their fans with a postgame fireworks display.

Archie Bradley earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake Saturday, improving to 1-0 on the season.

Yermin Mercedes homered in the loss for the River Cats, who fell to 63-82 in defeat.

The Bees take Sunday off before concluding the season with a 3-game series at Oklahoma City Monday-Wednesday.
