SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Stefanic posted a 2-RBI single in the bottom of the 9th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees edged Las Vegas 6-5, winning the series against the Aviators Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Jhonatahn Diaz improved to 3-0 on the mound this season for the Bees by getting a strikeout in 0.2 innings of work.

Jo Adell homered twice as well in the win for the Bees, who improved to 20-25.

Cody Thomas and Dermis Garcia homered in the loss for the Aviators, dropping them to 21-24.

The Bees next visit Sugar Land for a six-game series against the Space Cowboys Tuesday.
