ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Sam Hilliard and Wynton Bernard drove in two runs apiece and the Albuquerque Isotopes swept Salt Lake with an 11-5 win over the Bees Sunday at Isotopes Park.

Brandon Gold earned the win on the mound for the Isotopes by posting three strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Gold improved to 4-2 on the season with the victory.

Jo Adell and Jose Rojas each homered in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 31-35 in dropping their eighth straight game. Albuquerque improved to 32-34 on the season by winning their seventh straight game.

The game was called after six innings because of rain in the Albuquerque area.

Salt Lake seeks to get back on track Tuesday as the Bees host the Reno Aces for a six-game series. Tuesday’s opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm MDT at Smith’s Ballpark.
