ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.-Bret Boswell homered and doubled and the Albuquerque Isotopes downed Salt Lake 8-6 Thursday at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park in Pacific Coast League play.

Zach Neal earned the win on the mound for the Isotopes by posting five strikeouts in six innings of work.

David MacKinnon homered in the loss for the Bees, who have lost five straight and fell below .500 at 31-32.

Albuquerque improves to 29-34 on the season with the win.

The Bees and Isotopes return to action Friday for a 7:05 pm opening pitch at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park.
