LAS VEGAS-Mickey Moniak homered twice and Jordyn Adams also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees downed Las Vegas 8-5 Thursday at Las Vegas Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Austin Warren posted two strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees.

JJ Bleday, Cody Thomas and Pablo Reyes each posted an RBI for the Aviators in the loss.

Salt Lake improved to 8-4 on the season with the win while Las Vegas slumped to 2-10.

The Bees and Aviators return to action Friday at Las Vegas Ballpark as the series resumes.
