SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Jake Gatewood homered twice and Matt Thaiss also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees routed Sacramento 12-5 Tuesday at Sutter Health Park in Triple A-West play, concluding this series.

Gatewood also added an RBI single for the Bees, amassing 7 RBI, as Salt Lake improved to 18-23.

Jason Vosler homered in defeat for the Rivercats, who fell to 17-24 with the loss.

Dillon Peters earned the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 2-1 on the season.

After taking Wednesday off, the Bees host Las Vegas Thursday for a six-game slate at Smith’s Ballpark.
