SALT LAKE CITY-Jake Gatewood hit a go-ahead 3-run homer in the bottom of the 3rd Inning and the Salt Lake Bees bested Oklahoma City 8-5 Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

Brendon Davis added a pair of RBI singles and Preston Palmeiro (RBI triple) and Franklin Torres (RBI single) also drove in runs for the Bees, who improved to 47-64 with the win.

Omar Estevez and Sheldon Neuse homered in the loss for the Dodgers who fell to 57-54 with the loss.

Thomas Pannone earned the win on the mound for the Bees, as he improved to 5-10 on the season with the victory.
