SALT LAKE CITY-Preston Palmeiro drove in two runs and the Salt Lake Bees overcame a 5-0 deficit to down the Las Vegas Aviators 7-6 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark.
Jhonathan Diaz posted three strikeouts in 1.2 innings to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Diaz is 2-0 on the season for Salt Lake.
Max Schuemann homered in the loss for the Aviators who fell to 20-23.
Salt Lake improved to 19-24 on the season in victory.
With a win Saturday or Sunday, the Bees capture their second series of the last three they have played.
