9 Utah State Aggies Receive All Mountain West Status

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Tuesday, nine Utah State football standouts received all-Mountain West Conference status as the all-conference teams were announced.

The MWC’s offensive player of the year is Air Force senior tailback Brad Roberts (1,612 rushing yards, 134.3 rushing yards per game, 15 rushing touchdowns)

The conference defensive player of the year is San Jose State junior defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko (9 sacks, 18.5 tackles for a loss).

The MWC special teams player of the year is San Diego State senior punter/kicker Jack Browning (42.7 yards per punt, sixth nationally)

The coach of the year is Boise State head coach Andy Avalos and the freshman of the year is Broncos quarterback Taylen Green.

The Aggies on the various teams are as follows:

senior receiver Brian Cobbs (70 rec, 844 yards, 4 TD’s)

senior tailback Calvin Tyler Jr. (1,043 rushing yards, 7 TD’s)

graduate junior defensive end Daniel Grzesiak (6.5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for a loss)

junior receiver Terrell Vaughn (52 rec, 590 yards, 5 TD’s)

Reynolds was also granted honorable mention status on the Pro Football Focus All-American Team.
