5A Championship Series

PROVO, Utah-The No. 1 Spanish Fork Dons pulverized No. 7 Lehi 15-2 Thursday in the first game of the 5A championship series at Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University.

The Dons have a chance to secure the state title with a win Friday at 11:00 am at Miller Park in Game 2 of this series. If the Pioneers win this game, there would be a Game 3 winner-takes-all game Friday at 4:00 pm.

Girls Lacrosse

5A Championship Game @ Zions Bank Stadium

HERRIMAN, Utah-The No. 3 Olympus Titans upset No. 1 Park City 10-9 Thursday in the 5A state girls championship lacrosse game at Zions Bank Stadium. This is Olympus’ first girls lacrosse state title in school history. The Titans have now won 46 net state championships in school history.
