ST. GEORGE, Utah-This past weekend, the Wasatch High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps placed second at the 2023 Utah State Drill Meet at the Dixie Center Convention Center of St. George.

The Wasps placed second to Utah Military Academy Hill Field as the Thunderbirds posted 455.1 points. The Wasps netted 403.2 points.

Wasatch placed first in armed regulation. The Wasps also achieved high rankings in several other categories.

These include armed exhibition (3rd), armed inspection (4th; by .5 points) and second and third in several categories of armed duo.

Additionally, this past week, several Wasatch High School student-athletes have signed on to compete at the next level.
