SALT LAKE CITY-Luis Rengifo hit a 3-run homer and  Jake Gatewood also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees outlasted Sacramento 11-9 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

Ben Rowen earned the win on the mound for the Bees, who improved to 1-1 on the season with the win. Salt Lake is now 37-49 on the season with the victory.

OGDEN, Utah-Josh Broughton and Raul Shah each homered and the Ogden Raptors bested Billings 9-3 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Mitchell Miller earned the win on the mound for the 40-32 Raptors.

Brandon Pugh had 2 RBI in defeat for the Mustangs, who fell to 34-38 with the loss.
