SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, the Utah State Division of Motor Vehicles sent out a release, asking the public to process their motor vehicle renewals online.

This is to implement social distancing more effectively as everyone seeks to combat COVID-19.

The release stated that while all vehicles are eligible for online renewal, the majority can be renewed at an ON The Spot renewal station or online at Renewal Express.

There are four On The Spot renewal stations in Heber City: Labrum Chevrolet Buick, 901 S. Main, Labrum Ford, 900 S. Main, Karl Malone Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 46 E. 200 South and Jiffy Lube, 510 N. Main.

The DMV recommends customers access Renewal Express throughout the state Web site as there are third-party registration renewal companies that are not affiliated with any government agency.
