SALT LAKE CITY-Friday, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square announced award-winning actress of screen and stage Lea Salonga will be the featured guest artist at this year’s Christmas concerts December 15-17 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Conference Center at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City.
This is the Salt Lake City-based choir’s first live Christmas concert since COVID-19 canceled performances in 2020 and 2021.
Salonga is the singing voice of Princess Jasmine from Disney’s 1992 animated feature Aladdin and also provided the singing voice of Fa Mulan from Disney’s Mulan and Mulan II.
Tickets are complimentary but required to attend the performances. Tickets are to be distributed through a random selection process and limited to two tickets per household.
Those wishing to request tickets are invited to sign up during the registration period (October 21-October 30).
