The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Sends Food Donations To Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif.-This past July, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sent several dozen pallets of beans, salsa, spaghetti and other pantry foods to the Orange County Food Bank of Garden Grove, Calif.

Others receiving donations from the Salt Lake City-based faith include the Mercy Warehouse of Laguna Niguel, Calif., the Orange County Rescue Mission of Tustin, Calif., and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County located at Irvine, Calif.

These charities received a net 105,000 pounds of food from the Church collectively.

Additional donations are being scheduled for Orange County in subsequent months.
