SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced several temples worldwide will advance to Phase 1 and Phase 2 of reopening September 28.
Under the Salt Lake City-based faith’s procedures, Phase 1 consists of living husband-and-wife sealings by appointment.
Phase 2 entails temples being open for all living ordinances only with restrictions.
The following temples will advance to Phase 1:
-Cochabamba Bolivia Temple
-Merida Mexico Temple
-San Salvador El Salvador Temple
The following temples will advance to Phase 2:
-Guayaquil Ecuador Temple
-Newport Beach California Temple
-Papeete Tahiti Temple
-San Diego California Temple
