The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Announces Limited Reopening of Temples

SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the limited reopening of many temples to Phases 1 and 2 for Monday August 24.

Phase 1 entails living husband-and-wife sealings by appointment and Phase 2 permits opening of temples for all living ordinances only with restrictions.

The following temples will be open to phase 1 Monday August 24:

-Campinas Brazil Temple

-Ciudad Juarez Mexico Temple

-Colonia Juarez Chihuahua Mexico Temple

-Concepcion Chile Temple

-Guatemala City Guatemala Temple

-Mexico City Mexico Temple

-Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple

The following temples open to Phase 2 of reopening August 24

-Aba Nigeria Temple

-Accra Ghana Temple

-Apia Samoa Temple

-Calgary Alberta Temple

-Cardston Alberta Temple

-Draper Utah Temple

-Edmonton Alberta Temple

-Idaho Falls Idaho Temple
