The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Advances More Temples in Phases of Reopening

SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints advanced more temples to various levels of reopening under the protocol following the covid-19 outbreak throughout the world.

The following temples have advanced to phase 3 officially June 7.

-Atlanta Georgia Temple

-Brigham City Utah Temple

-Nashville Tennessee Temple

Phase 3 consists of being open for all ordinances with restrictions.

Latter-day Saints in the Atlanta, Brigham City and Nashville districts are now eligible to make reservations to serve at these temples.

The following 13 temples will advance to phase 2-B effective June 7. Phase 2-B consists of being open for all living ordinances and baptisms for deceased individuals with restrictions.

-Boston Massachusetts Temple

-Caracas Venezuela Temple

-Denver Colorado Temple

-Fort Collins Colorado Temple

-Hartford Connecticut Temple

-Hermosillo Mexico Temple

-Lisbon Portugal Temple

-Manaus Brazil Temple

-Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple

-Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple

-Rome Italy Temple

-Tijuana Mexico Temple

-Trujillo Peru Temple

Also as of June 7: the Church’s temples at Mexico City and Vancouver, British Columbia will advance to Phase 2.

Phase 2 consists of being open for all living ordinances only with restrictions.
