CEDAR CITY, Utah-Wednesday, Southern Utah University confirmed it will resume in-person classes for the fall semester.
Via a news release, President Scott L. Wyatt said “this is a significant step in getting back to a sense of normalcy.”
He continued, saying that when students return to campus for the fall semester, the on-campus experience will have slightly changed.
Wyatt ensured precautions will be taken to protect the campus community.
The university’s plan for the semester consists of social distancing, diagnostic testing and contact tracing per the release.
This plan is contingent upon the continued improvement of COVID-19 conditions in Utah, per the release.
