SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, Sister Jean B. Bingham, the General President of the Relief Society for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, called upon business leaders and diplomats worldwide to open up the way for women throughout the world.
Sister Bingham served as the keynote speaker at the fifth-annual International Women-in-Diplomacy symposium.
Originating from Los Angeles, this event was conducted virtually and sponsored by the honorary consul of the Republic of Senegal.
Sister Bingham said the greatest impediment to women’s success is a lack of formal education.
March 8 has been considered International Women’s Day since 1911.
