SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
300,516 Utahns have been vaccinated. This is an increase of 18,719 from Friday’s report.
242,784 Utahns (80.8 percent) have received one dose.
57,732 Utahns (19.2 percent) have received the recommended two doses.
3,052 Wasatch County residents have been vaccinated. This is an increase of 80 since Friday.
2,664 Wasatch County residents (87.3 percent) have received one dose. 388 Wasatch County residents have received both doses (12.7 percent).
For the fifth consecutive day, a record recovery percentage from covid-19 (88.03 percent, 304,074-345,430) occurred Saturday.
11.5 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (39,693-345,430) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,612) exceed new active cases (-1,152) and new net recorded cases (1,468).
There are 264,381 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
Of the 13,427 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19, 430 are currently hospitalized or 3.2 percent.
Of the 430, 139 are in ICU or 32.3 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
86.3 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 89.1 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,663 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.481 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch School District has 72 active cases out of 645 all-time cases or 11.2 percent.
Wasatch County has 4,068 all-time cases, 92 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
