SALT LAKE CITY-Last week, President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints told mission presidents a testimony of Joseph Smith is “vital” during the 2021 seminar for new mission leaders.

Pres. Nelson addressed 109 couples assigned to lead missions virtually.

They will labor in 49 countries and 14 states across the United States.

They commence their missionary labors Thursday July 1 in these new assignments.

Pres. Nelson also encouraged his audience to consider Joseph Smith’s role as the revelator of latter-day Scriptures.
