POCATELLO, Idaho-Monday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed its temple at Pocatello, Idaho will commence its open house Saturday September 18.

The temple will be open to tours for the public from September 18-October 23 with the exception of Sundays (September 19, 26, October 10 and 17) and the Church’s General Conference (October 2 and 3).

The temple is to be dedicated Sunday November 7 in three sessions by President M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles.

A youth devotional is slated for Saturday November 6. The dedicatory sessions and youth devotional are to be broadcast to all congregations in the Pocatello Idaho Temple District.

Upon dedication, this will be Idaho’s sixth temple in operation.

Other temples are in Boise, Idaho Falls, Meridian, Rexburg and Twin Falls.
