HEBER CITY, Utah-Saturday evening, a new Miss Wasatch County was crowned for the first time in the past two years as Chanelle Smith earned the title during the pageant at Wasatch High School.
As Miss Wasatch County 2022, she will preside over all events at the Wasatch County Fair. She will also represent Wasatch County at Miss Utah next year.
Chanelle Smith was the No. 4 candidate in the pageant and performed the violin.
Her social initiative is Healthy, Happy and Free.

Because there was no Miss Wasatch County Pageant last year, Willis retained the crown for two years. Last month, Willis placed seventh overall at Miss Utah.
The second runner-up is Shaylee Murdock, the No. 3 contestant. Her talent was acrobatic dance. Her social initiative is Powering Through Dyslexia. Smith’s attendants are Alexia Smith and Addison Callister. Alexia Smith’s talent is dance and her social initiative is Skin Cancer Awareness and Prevention. Alexia Smith was the No. 2 contestant.
Callister’s talent is dance and her social initiative is Mental Health Awareness.
