New Exhibit Of Famous LDS Artist Opens At Church History Museum

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A new exhibit of paintings by famous Latter-day Saint artist Minerva Teichert is now open at the Church History Museum. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a major patron of Teichert’s works in the 1930s and ’40s, according to a release from the church, and many of her pieces hang in meetinghouses, temples, and private homes. The exhibit, titled “With This Covenant in My Heart: The Art and Faith of Minerva Teichert,” opened on Thursday and will run to August 3rd.
