SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
525,033 Utahns have now been vaccinated per Monday’s report. This is an increase of 1,033 since Sunday.
Of these, 364,224 Utahns (69.4 percent) have received one dose.
160,809 Utahns (30.6 percent of those vaccinated) have received the recommended two doses.
The Wasatch County vaccination statistics remain relatively unchanged from Sunday. Roughly, 16.1 percent (5,813-36,139) Wasatch County residents have been vaccinated.
For the 20th straight day, Utah set a state record for recovery percentage (92.6 [92.62] percent. 335,049 of the 361,756 all-time recorded cases in Utah are recovered.
6.89 [6.886] percent of covid-19 cases statewide (24,911-361,756) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (839) exceed new active cases (-388) and new net recorded cases (462).
There are 310,138 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
Of the 14,209 all-time covid hospitalizations in Utah, 274 are currently hospitalized or 1.93 percent.
Of the 274, 104 are in ICU or 37.96 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
74.9 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 78.7 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,796 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.5 [0.4969] percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch County School District currently has 18 active cases out of 681 all-time cases or 2.6 percent.
The Wasatch County Health Department has revealed the following:
recovery percentage: 92.6 [92.56] percent (3,911-4,225)
active case percentage: 6.98 percent (295-4,225)
death percentage: 0.45 [0.449] percent (19-4,225).
