SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints revealed the open house dates for its temple at Helena, Mont.

This period will commence May 18 and run through June 3 with the exception of Sundays May 21 and 28.

The temple will be dedicated Sunday June 18. The dedication will be overseen by Elder Gary E. Stevenson of The Quorum of Twelve Apostles of the Salt Lake City-based faith.

Before the public open house, there will be a media day May 15. Invited guests will tour the temple May 16 and 17.

The dedicatory sessions will be broadcast to all units of the Helena Montana Temple District.

This will be the second temple in Montana with the Billings Montana Temple dedicated in November 1999.

The Missoula Montana Temple was announced in April 2022.

Montana is the home to 51,289 Latter-day Saints in 13 stakes.
